MAHS GRADUATION 2012


SENIORS - This is VITAL information about the graduation ceremony, so pay close attention!
 

The graduation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
 

Caps/gowns/tassels will cost $25.00 which can be paid until the end of March. The seniors may keep the caps, gowns, and tassels after the ceremony on June 5, 2012. The expense will be added to the senior debt if not paid by the end of March. Seniors who do not purchase a cap and gown will not be permitted to march in the ceremony on
June 5, 2012.
Diplomas may be picked up AFTER June 11, 2012 in the main office. Extra tassels can be ordered. These extra tassels are $5.00. Order forms were passed out on January 6, 2012; extra order forms are available in the the main office or by downloading from the homepage of this Website.
 

You must attend ALL practices for graduation. Practices will be held STARTING during homeroom period continuing into the morning periods of Friday, June 1; Monday, June 4; and Tuesday, June 5.
 

Caps and gowns will be distributed at one of the practices.
 

You must have all of your school debts paid before Friday, June 1, 2012.
 

The graduation ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. Graduates must be in assigned areas of the high school at 5:30 p.m. Allow time for traffic, parking, photos, etc., in order that you will be in your assigned area on time. DO NOT BE LATE. If you are TARDY, you will NOT participate in the ceremony.
 

Each graduate will be given ONLY 2 reserved seats for the auditorium (if held indoors) and ONLY 4 reserved seats for the stadium (if held outdoors). There is alternative seating available in both situations at a cost of $2.00 per ticket.
 

Males MUST wear slacks, shirt, tie, socks, and dress shoes. No jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, sandals, or flip flops!
 

Females MUST wear a dress, skirt and blouse, or dress slacks and dress shoes. No jeans, shorts (Capri pants), tennis shoes, sandals, or flip flops!
 

Graduates dressed INAPPROPRIATELY will not be permitted to march in the ceremony.
 

If handicapped parking and seating is needed, you must sign up for it in Mrs. Plance's office BEGINNING MAY 1, 2012.
 

Photographs of every graduate receiving a diploma from the Superintendent will be taken by Curt's Photography. Prices will vary depending on the package chosen.
 

A DVD of the entire ceremony is being created by Entertainment Tonite. Order forms are available in May.
